This privacy policy has been prepared by Sportime in accordance with the provisions of the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. It has been prepared for your information so that you are aware of how Sportime collects, uses and handles the personal information it collects about you.
In relation to your online account and customer account, Sportime collects the following personal information from it’s customers:
• name, address and other details provided on the Account form;
• your school, company, club or association name;
• your purchases made at Sportime (both online & through other means); and
• any other information you may provide to us in the course of your dealings with our staff.
For example, payment details, requests etc.
Sportime primarily uses the information we collect about you to operate and administer your account. We will also use your personal information to send you from time to time marketing material relating to sporting products sold by Sportime as well as topical sports information.
Will not sell or disclose your information to any third parties. However we may disclose your personal information to third parties that assist us to administer, analyse or process our marketing operations also in the event of debt collecting. We may also disclose your personal information to law enforcement bodies for the purpose of detecting or preventing fraud, or as required by law.
We take all reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
If you no longer wish to be a member and hold an account with Sportime, please advise Sportime. We will remove your details from the Sportime system immediately.
You are able to obtain details of all your personal information held by Sportime at any time by contacting Sportime via e-mail at privacy@sportime.com.au.
If your personal information becomes incorrect at any time (for example, if you change address) you may update it by notifying us.
By using your Sportime Account and agreeing to open an account you consent to the use and disclosure of your personal information for the above purposes.
